Personal Data Protection Policy

Riga Secondary School No 22 complies with the Personal Data Protection Policy of the Riga City Municipality, which is available on the website https://www.riga.lv/lv/rigas-pilsetas-pasvaldibas-personas-datu-aizsardzibas-politika

In accordance with the legislation, the school processes and stores data on pupils, their legal representatives and employees, incl. name, surname, personal identification number, gender, date of birth, nationality, declared and actual addresses of residence, contact information (telephone and/or e-mail address), decision of the orphan's court on the child's out-of-family care and/or power of attorney, photograph, education of pupils, behavior and grades, medical documentation of pupils and employees, information obtained during video surveillance, employee CV, account and salary information, criminal record.

Data is processed and stored to ensure the learning process and safety at school. The legal basis for data processing is defined in the following regulatory acts: the Education Law, the General Education Law and the regulations of the Cabinet of Ministers subordinate to it.

The duration of data storage is determined by legislation.
